reparations

We recognize that for centuries that violence has been committed towards black people.  A freed generation from enslaved human beings continued the struggle for liberation.  Long after the end of slavery black Americans expierenced different forms of oppression and violence during Jim Crow and the numerous movemeots for black equality and liberation in America’s short history.  Connell Crooms as an activist recognizes that reparations isn’t only about what’s fair but also about justice in a society that can allow billionaires to exist and corporations to store trillions of dollars overseas.  Communities require land and systemic support for social preservation.  Reparations is about the government recognizing and committing to correcting the systemic repression its waged against black people.  When elected to Congress, Conell Crooms will propose and support legislation for reparations.
